A: Because unlike a traditional cleanse, there are no calorie restrictions or limitations on specific macro-nutrients (healthy carbs, fats, proteins). You eat regular meals and snacks.

A: In addition to the seven common categories of food sensitivities, this plan also eliminates those foods that are just plain-old toxic (especially in the quantities many people consume today, often unknowingly).
Q: How calorie-restrictive is this cleanse?
A: THERE ARE NO CALORIE RESTRICTIONS, AND NO RESTRICTIONS ON THE AMOUNTS OF MACRONUTRIENTS (Carbs, Fats and Proteins) CONSUMED DAILY. So if you're training for an athletic event, or have other health concerns that would prohibit you from going on a traditional cleanse, this might be just fine for you. In my case, I'm breastfeeding and so calorie- and nutrient-restrictive plans are definitely off the table. But, this plan is fine for me and my baby as I'm probably getting even better nutrition that usual simply by being more vigilant.
And this plan is really easy to follow. I recommend starting on Monday so you have a few hours this weekend to shop and prepare everything you'll need for the 5 days. You may need to make one more grocery run mid-week (if you're like me and don't like really brown bananas, for example), but that's it!
